The Town of Douglas Massachusetts was founded in 1746 and is located in Worcester County on the southern border of Massachusetts where Connecticut and Rhode Island meet.

The community contains about 8000 year round residents. The town was named after Dr. William Douglas of Boston who donated funds for the establishment of free schools in the town.

Today the town remains a residential upland community that is not only picturesque but also relaxing for both raising a family and retirement.
